welcome to sparrowloom. a little place to sink in, find beauty, be inspired, get feisty, find something new, form an idea, take a breath. i am a painter, a designer, a single mom, a lover of things vintage, delicate, modern. i am drawn to the history of objects, the perfect cup of coffee, the billowy coat that hangs just so, dirty martinis, cuss words, and dancing on furniture when the moment presents itself. i believe in long conversations with old people, a tender footstep on this planet, rescuing dogs, and loving our kids to the moon and back no matter how rotten they can be. i look for that spot where form meets function, and can be flattened in equal measure by a punch of color, a piece of music, that fresh dirt smell of a dog paw, the lilt of an ankle, the scent of a cologne-wearing man, a gift of flowers.
